Wild Light — Exhibition Auction
In this special online auction, the original works from Scott Wilmot Bennett’s Wild Light series find their way from studio to sky — shown at Launceston Airport, where travellers pass through shifting light and motion much like Scott’s own marks.
These portraits of Tasmania’s natives — Spot the Quoll, Warren the Wombat, Spike the Echidna, Salty the Seal, and Nick the Devil — capture the spark between wild instinct and human touch. Painted in energetic, drip‑and‑flick gestures, each piece reveals its character in the moment where accident becomes design.
The Wild Light Exhibition Auction runs from April 2 – 30, 2026, alongside the airport presentation. Bidders are invited to take part directly through this page — five opportunities to bring a living moment of Tasmania home.
