A little White Faced heron with neck craned in against the wind, seemed excited by the new construction and attempted to steal my attention away. Bridgewater crossing has always been a highlight. It offered the unique experience of entering the world of the birds. Waterbirds of all kinds are fascinating to observe there. Swans with their heads down or trailed by their goslings, herons and egrets fishing along the shoreline, the flocks of coots and the flight formations of ducks and cormorants overhead!
