WILD LIGHT

Scott’s Wild Light series was shown at Launceston Airport (April 2 – 30).
These expressive portraits of Tasmanian natives — Spot the Quoll, Warren the Wombat, Spike the Echidna, Salty the Seal, and Nick the Devil — were auctioned during the exhibition.

Wild Light explores instinct, play, and presence through portraits of five Tasmanian natives; a quoll, wombat, echidna, fur seal, and devil. Painted in a free, drip and flick rhythm, the works balance wild energy with quiet precision. Each portrait, affectionately named Spot, Warren, Spike, Salty, and Nick, emerges as both muse and mirror: light born from motion.
